From the Huang Di Nei Jing, 不通這痛,痛則不通 translates roughly as: if there is no free flow, there is pain; if there is free flow, there is no pain. This classic idiom is the basis of Traditional Chinese Medical theory, but also, in a broader sense, I think quite applicable to life.
